Error description

• A user will not be able to capture traces using memory buffer wh
  HPEL is enabled. Only the default trace to disk function
  is working

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A user will not be able to capture      *
  *                      traces using memory buffer when         *
  *                      HPEL is enabled.                        *

  * RECOMMENDATION:  The user is adviced not to write traces to  *
  *                  memory buffer when HPEL is enabled to avoid *
  *                  running into the problem.                   *
  ****************************************************************
  When HPEL is turned on, the logs and traces can only be
  captured in the default filesystems configuration. If the user
  configured the server to capture the traces in the memory
  buffer, he/she will not be able to dump the traces to a file
  later on, as the memory buffer is not capturing any traces.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem is only introduced in 9.0.0.10.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.11.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
