    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After update WAS 8.5.5.12 with 32-bit *
    *                      IBM Java 7 to WAS 8.5.5.14, IBM         *
    * Java 7 architecture is switched from *
    *                      32-bit to 64-bit                        *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    From WAS 8.5.5.14 Java 8 is the only default Java. Because
    Solaris Sparc OS only supports 64-bit Java 8 the architecture
    of WAS 8.5.5.14 for Solaris Sparc OS will only support 64-bit
    architecture as well. After update, the WAS 8.5.5.14
    architecture is changed from 32-bit to 64-bit and this changing
    causes the architecture changing of IBM Java 7.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is to keep the architecture of IBM Java 7 as 32-bit if
    the previous architecture is 32-bit.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.15. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
