Error description

  • IBM Rational DOORS Default columns (meaning the ID and Obj
Heading/Text columns) are not included in View Definitions when
exported to ReqIF or Migration Package and hence do not get
displayed when they are imported into IBM Rational DOORS Next
    Generation.

This leads to inconsistent display of Column information in
Views of the Modules generated in IBM Rational DOORS Next
Generation as compared to the IBM Rational DOORS Module Views.

    Steps to reproduce:
    =============
1.> In IBM Rational DOORS create a new Module (you can use any
    existing template to populate data).
2.> Create a couple of custom attributes (i.e. user defined
    attributes).
3.> Create few Views in the Module such that you have the
Default columns and few System defined and user defined
    attributes in them.
    For example:
    -- Standard view (default columns)
-- Standard view 2 (user-created copy of the default)
-- Sys attributes (defaults plus two system attribute columns)
-- User attributes (defaults plus two user-defined attribute
    columns)

4.> Export this Module via either ReqIF or Migration Package.
5.> Import this into IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation Project
Area and inspect the imported module's views

    Expected Results:
Imported Views in IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation reflect the
    views of IBM Rational DOORS

    Actual Results:
    Standard view - OK
    Standard view 2 - OK
Sys attributes - default columns don't exist
User attributes - default columns don't exist
