APAR status

Error description

  • DOORS drag and drop copy/link objects not working correctly if a
    child object is soft deleted.
    
    Create the following object hierarchy:
    
    1 - Level 1 object
    2 - Level 2 object soft deleted
    3 - Level 2 object
    
    
    Multi-select Object 1 and 3 (2 is soft deleted and not
    displayed).
    Drag and drop to a location in the SAME module and select option
    Copy then link from start> After
    
    Receive DOORS Warning:
    "This operation did not copy read locked and deleted objects".
    
    Click OK
    
    The level 1 object has link to the original object but the level
    2 object does not.
    
    If the soft deleted object does not exist then both level 1 and
    2 objects are copied and both have links to the original objects
    (as expected).

Problem conclusion
