Error description

  • When a caller configuration is defined for UsernameToken, a
    CWWKW0207E error can be generated due to an issue when
    processing the caller token.

    In WebSphere Application Server Liberty, when UsernameToken
    without password is used with WS-Security caller configuration,
    the following error occurs: "There is no Username token in the
    message to process caller".
    

Problem conclusion

  • This problem occured because the WS-Security code in Liberty did
    not correctly process caller configuration for a UsernameToken
    without a password. The WS-Security runtime code was updated to
    correctly process the UsernameToken caller configuration.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
    pack 18.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
    delivery information:
