APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • the set function of an attribute using an argument of a user
    defined type is not correctly generated in MISRA C++ when the
    user defined type is defined inside the same class.
    The const specifier is missing and the class is added to the
    type.
    sample:
    .h (correct)
    void setAttribute_3(const type_3 p_attribute_3);
    .cpp (not correct)
    void class_0::setAttribute_3(class_0::type_3 p_attribute_3)

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is fixed. But to avoid backward compatibility
    problems user should add hidden property
    CG::Attribute::UseDirectionPropertyForMutatorArgument and set
    its value to True.
