PH00763: RLKS ART DOS NOT RECOGNIZE MULTIPLE LICENSE LINES FOR A SINGLE PRODUCT, CAUSING "AVAILABLE LICENSE" REPORT TOO FEW LICENSES

Error description

• When performing an "available licenses" report in IBM Rational
  License Key Server (RLKS) Administration and Reporting Tool
  (ART), the reported values will be lower than the actual value
  if there are multiple "INCREMENT" lines for a given product or
  license. This is due to an agent issue where only the
  first-encountered product INCREMENT line is actually recognized,
  meaning the subsequent lines are ignored.

Problem conclusion

• The issue has been fixed in Rational License Key Server
  Administration & Reporting tool v. 8.1.5.5 and Rational License
  Key Server Administration Agent v. 8.1.5.5. A new metric called
  License Details has been introduced to display all the necessary
  and historical details related to a license feature. Details
  from all the INCREMENT lines for a license feature will be
  captured and displayed in the License Details reports.
  
  NOTE :- The license server must be started before upgrading to
  the Rational License Key Server Administration Agent v. 8.1.5.5.
  Otherwise, no license information will be displayed in the
  License Details reports.
