Error description

  • In the PAC configuration files, spaces cause the current
stanza being processed to be reset. After this change, lines
starting with a space are ignored unless the environment
    variable CP_PAC_RESET_STANZA_WITH_SP is set.

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Remove any spaces leading directives in *
    * PAC config files that are unnecessary. *
    ****************************************************************
In the PAC configuration files, spaces cause the current
stanza being processed to be reset.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Caching Proxy was changed to ignore leading spaces instead
of reseting the stanza. To revert to the old behavior, users
    should set the environment variable
    'CP_PAC_RESET_STANZA_WITH_SP' to any value.

This fix is targeted for IBM Caching Proxy fix packs:

     - 8.5.5.15
