Error description

  • This is an improvement to Banned Documents processing to skip
documents if the calendar APPTUnid is in the Banned Document
list. This gives IBM Traveler the capability of skip all future
changes for a meeting by its APPTUnid so that all of its future
changes will be banned in the future.

To enable this function the notes.ini parameter
NTS_BANNED_DOC_APPTUNID needs to be set to True

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This is an improvement in the crash prevention feature of IBM
traveler server. Currently if processing an event causes a
server crash, that event is banned. If an update is made to
that event though the update is not banned and is synced and
    could cause another crash.

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server was updated to improve this function.
This improvement is off by default currently and can be enabled
by setting NTS_BANNED_DOC_APPTUNID=true in the notes.ini file.
