Error description

  • If a user has been renamed and the old name is in the lookup
results (along with the new name), the tell traveler cleanup
command may fail to reset the old user name which will cause it
to still show up in the list of users need to be cleaned up.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • We have had some reports about not being able to remove users
from the Traveler internal database after the user has been
renamed. This may include performing a reset, delete or cleanup
    operation.

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario
when trying to cleanup or delete a users old data after the user
    has been renamed.
