APAR status

Error description

  • This scenario is not common and only seen when using the native
    Calendar application on Apple devices.
    
    Chair creates a repeating event, then removes an attendee from
    all instance and then adds the attendee back at a later time,
    the attendee and the attendee then accepts the meeting, the
    attendee will see the event with a strikethrough on the mobile
    device indicating it was cancelled.
    

Local fix

  • Use IBM Verse application for iOS devices.
    

Problem summary

  • This issue only seen on native iOS calendar application when
    viewing ghosted calendar entries vs processing the events.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario
    correctly.
