APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If chair creates a repeating event, reschedules it and then
    cancels it, if the recipient does not process any of the events,
    then tries to view the cancel notice, the chair will get an
    accept response from the end user.
    
    This is only seen with the native Calendar application on Apple
    devices.
    

Local fix

  • Process the events or use IBM Verse for iOS.
    

Problem summary

  • This issue only seen on native iOS calendar application when
    viewing ghosted calendar entries vs processing the events.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario
    correctly.
