APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Fairly rare scenario. If an end user never processes a meeting
event and only looks at the ghosted events then they will still
see a cancelled event ghosted on the device if the chair
reschedules all events after they cancelled one event.

This is only seen using the native Apple Calendar application on
iOS devices. The problem is not seen with IBM Verse on iOS.

Local fix

  • Process the event vs working off ghosted view.

Problem summary

  • This issue only seen on native iOS calendar application when
viewing ghosted calendar entries vs processing the events.

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario
    correctly.
