APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Not a very common scenario and only an issue on Native iOS
    Calendar.
    
    - Chair sends invitation for repeating event.
    - User does not process the event, sees the event ghosted on the
    iOS device.
    - Chair cancels the repeating event.
    - The ghosted entries are not removed from the user's mobile
    device as expected.
    

Local fix

  • Process the calendar event and it will show correctly on the
    device.
    

Problem summary

  • Not a common scenario and only seen on native calendar
    application on Apple devices when relying on ghosted view vs
    accepting meeting invitations.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario
    correctly.
