LO87872: INCORRECT "SENT BY" HEADER ON CERTAIN DRAFT MESSAGES SENT FROM MOBILE VERSE CLIENTS
Direct links to fixes
Closed as program error.
If a delegate user creates a draft message in the owner's mail file via iNotes and the owner later opens and sends this draft using a mobile Verse client, the recipient of the message may still see a "Sent By" header for this message showing the delegate's name, even though the mail was actually sent by the owner. Generally this incorrect header will only display in iNotes, and not in the Notes client. This problem occurs because Traveler does not update the "AltFrom" field of the document when sending drafts, so it is incorrectly still set to the name of the iNotes editor (delegate) rather than the Traveler sender (owner). This has been resolved now with this APAR.
Message sent with wrong sent by address when user sends a draft from a mobile device that was created by a delegate.
The IBM Traveler server has been update to appropriately set the Sent By field when sending a Draft message from a mobile device.
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 188.8.131.52 and all future releases. For the latest available maintenance release see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
