This scenario is not very common but could result in incorrect ghosted entry on the recipients mobile device. Scenario: 1) End user has disabled "Auto process calendar updates" in Notes client or Notes Web mail interface. 2) End user recieves a reschedule for an existing repeating event and does not process it, I.E. it shows ghosted on the user's mobile devices. 3) End user recieves a meeting update for repeating event. 4) On the end user's mobile device the ghosted reschedule notice does not show the updated content.
Processing the reschedule will then show the update as ghosted. Processing the update will update the meeting. Using auto process of updates also resolves.
Fairly rare scenario where the ghosted event on an Apple native Calendar app will be missing the updated event content.
The IBM Traveler server has been update to handle this case corretly with the native Calendar app on iOS.
