LO87602: FORWARDING AN EVENT FROM A BLACKBERRY DEVICE SETS THE REPLY-TO FIELD TO THE CHAIR OF THE EVENT
Direct links to fixes
Closed as program error.
When a user forwards an event or invitation from a BlackBerry device, the mail that is sent may include a Reply-To field with the address of the chair of the event. If the recipient of the mail then attempts to reply to it, the To field will be pre-populated with the chair's name instead of the sender's. Since this is unexpected for a mail item, Traveler has to work around the issue and prevent the Reply-To field from being set by the BlackBerry device in this specific case.
Workaround would be to manually change the To field to the correct address before sending the reply.
When forward an invitation or notice the BB device incorectly may set the notice chair in the Reply-To field instead of the forwarding user.
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to recognize and work around this BB issue.
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 18.104.22.168 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest release information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
