LO86932: DOMINO VERSION DETECTION MAY FAIL IF TEMP DIRECTORY HAS SPECIAL CHARACTERS.

Closed as program error.
Customer hit issue where the IBM Traveler server 18.104.22.168 install application kept installing for a 901 Domino server, but had a Domino 8.5.3 server installed. Issue is that their system temporary directory defined in the OS contains a national language character. This caused the installer to be unable to process the Domino Version checking scripts. The path was similar to this: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Configuración local\Temp
Change the system temp directory to a value without special characters OR run the silent installer and specify the Domino version that is currently installed. http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYRPW_9.0.1/Silent_i nstall_Windows.dita
System defined temp directory in this case had a national language character in the path. This prevented the IBM Traveler install application from correctly launching a batch script on Windows to locate and determine the installed Domino server version.
The IBM Traveler server was updated to correctly handle this scenario.
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 22.214.171.124 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest release information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
