LO86909: MEETING NOTICES NOT GHOSTED TO IOS9 APPLE CLIENT CALENDAR WHEN INITIAL INVITE UNPROCESSED
Direct links to fixes
Closed as program error.
The iOS9 Apple client mail application no longer appears to ghost meeting notices to the device calendar other than the initial invite when the initial invite has never been accepted. This is a change in behavior of the ios9 Apple client from iOS8. Investigation indicates that iOS9 requires the server to ghost the event via calendar updates even though the event has never been accepted.
The user could remove all but the latest notice from the inbox such that only the latest notice exists in the inbox of the device. Not very usable workaround though.
With this change initial invitations and related calendar event will show ghosted on an Apple native mail calendar as expected.
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to add new calendar functionality for iOS 9.x devices when using the Apple mail and calendar applications.
This fix is included in IBM Traveler 18.104.22.168 and will be included in all future releases. For the latest available maintenance information see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
