LO86162: EMAIL TO AN ADDRESS WITH NESTED QUOTES AND A COMMA IN THE DISPLAY NAME MAY CAUSE DELIVERY FAILURES
Direct links to fixes
Closed as program error.
When an IMSMO device (Outlook) sends a mail to an internet address with a display name that contains an unescaped internal double quote and a comma, the address may be improperly split into two addresses which may subsequently result in delivery report failures.
Unexpected character combination in send to field results in e-mail sent to two addresses, one invalid.
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario correctly.
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 126.96.36.199 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest release information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
