APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • IBM Internal deployment of the 901FP4 fixpack is blocked as
there have been several failures.

Example
2015-06-23T04:12:31.31-05:00 ReplaceJvmUpdateFiles: ERROR:
Failed to rename directory c:\notes\jvm to c:\notes\jvm_old:
this is his jvm version installed. (I thought it might be that
the jvm directory did not exist for some reason.)

These failures are not consistant and seem to be all associated
with the JVM Folder
Sometimes failing to Rename and sometimes unable to open the
Folder because it did not exist any longer ( As above).

I have several sets of Logs which I have provided to Jeff M and
Scott B.

One log reports the JVMPatcher error as well

Local fix

  • sometimes a retry will succeed
