APAR status

Error description

  • When there are mime emails with text parts that have trailing
    '\0' characters at the end of the text parts causes the synching
     of data to the device to stop.  The problem is that the
    trailing '\0' are send as end of data being sent to the device
    even when there is data after the '\0' characters.

  • Some Mime format documents with unexpected control character do
    not display correctly on Mobile device.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to correctly handle
    this scenario.
