Closed as program error.
There is apple bug (18853016) that can cause device to create orphan instance and later changes to it are ignored, including removing that instance. See Traveler description of issue at http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/dominowiki.nsf/dx/Bugs_reported_to_A pple_for_iPad_iPhone_iPod. Issue can affect appointments as well as meetings. For appointments, a workaround is for Traveler do always do a delete/add when updating the appointment on the ios device. We currently do this for meetings where user is the chair. This does not work for meetings where user is the attendee (other ios side affects). Fix currently requires customer to set NTS_CALENDAR_DELETEADD_APPLE_APPOINTMENTS=true in the Notes.ini file of their Traveler servers.
Turn off calendar sync on ios device and then turn back on. This will delete all existing events and then resync them to device.
Apple Bug 18853016 can cause devices to create orphan calendar instances to which future changes are ignored, including the removal of that instance.
The Notes Traveler Server was updated to work around the bug by doing a delete/add for appointment/meeting updates. This will not work for meetings where the user is the attendee (other iOS side effects). Fix currently requires customer to set NTS_CALENDAR_DELETEADD_APPLE_APPOINTMENTS=true in the Notes.ini file of their Traveler servers.
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 184.108.40.206 and all later releases. For the latest Traveler Maintenance release information see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
