APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Traveler deletes prior repeating event child documents when
    update from device processed. If the prior documents cannot be
    deleted due to users ACL then duplicate instances will appear on
    users Notes calendar.
    

Local fix

  • Give user delete access to their own mail db
    

Problem summary

  • Problem only seen when the end user is not allowed to delete
    entries from own mail file due to ACL restrictions.
    
    Duplicate entries may appear on Mobile device when deleting a
    repeating event from mobile device.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Notes Traveler server has been updated to handle this
    uncommon scenario.
