APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the server language is different from the client language,
and device approval is configured, the message on the client can
appear in the server language instead of the client language.

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • Some messages sent on behalf of the Android device, including
the device approval notification, may be in the default language
of the Traveler server instead of the language of the end user.

Problem conclusion

  • The Android client was not always sending the language of the
device to the server which then defaults to the server language.
The Android client was updated to always include the device
    language.

Temporary fix
