APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Internally we found Traveler startup would take longer than
expected on some systems. These systems all had IPV6 addresses
in addition to IPV4 addresses. The validation of these
addresses was found to take longer than expected.

The times in question are not large - 30 seconds or so, but
enough that it might appear the service is momentarily hung.
