Error description

  • Customer reported and we have confirmed that when you set the
    password history count for Mobil device security, Apple devices
    require one more unique password than all other mobile devices
    supported by Notes Traveler.
    
    Reviewing the password policy guidelines and will attempt to
    make the behavior consistant accross all mobile platforms.

Problem summary

  • Customer found that when setting passcode history for Apple and
    Android devices via Traveler security settings, the Apple
    devices remembered one more password than Android.
    

Problem conclusion

  • After reviewing the specifications for passcode history the
    Apple device was determined to have the correct behavior.  The
    server was updated to enforce the passcode history consistantly
    accross device types following the Apple model.
