LO78762: TRAVELER ANDROID MAY HAVE CONNECTION ERRORS WITH RELEASE 9001

Error description

  • In release 9001 of the Traveler Android client, the connection
    timeout is 60 seconds instead of 300 seconds.  This means that
    slow connections or busy servers can cause the client to retry
    too often or not complete a sync.
    
    This is corrected in the 901 and later release.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The connection timeout was mistakenly set too short in the
    Notes Traveler Android client.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The timeout was increased to expected value of 300 seconds.
    

Temporary fix

  • This fix is included in Notes Traveler 9.0.1 IF4 and 9.0.0.1 IF5
    or later releases.  In addition this fix is included in the
    Notes Traveler client for Android available on the Google Play
