Error description
Failed to login. CLRFJ0010E: Notes initialization failed" after installing new Notes 8.5 client under Windows XP SP2. - Uninstalling and reinstalling does not correct the problem. - Basic Client Works. - Restarted Single Logon Service and no change. - Notes.ini reveals no double spaces in filepaths. - Re-ran Notes Client configuration without Domino, same issue
Local fix
This issue can occur if multiple nnotes.dll are on the machine. In this case, an additional occurrence of nnotes.dll was in the C:\Windows\System folder. Renaming the file corrected the issue.
