Error description

  • The Redact policy should only apply to logs, but the response
payload is modified when using Redact policy.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • When using redact, the payload is parsed which changes the
formatting of the JSON. We have changed the behavior so that if
redacting for logs only, we will not parse the payload so the
formatting will not be touched.

Problem conclusion

  • <p>A fix will be delivered in the API Connect 5.0.8.8 and
2018.4.1.8 GA releases.</p>
