LI80844: AFTER CREATING A CONSUMER ORG IN API MANAGER, LOGIN WITH THIS USER ON DEVELOPER PORTAL CAN FAIL

Error description

  • After creating a consumer org in API Manager, login using this
    user on Developer Portal might fail.
    
    Following message appears in the Portal www pod's log:

Problem summary

  • Users are unable to login to the developer portal, due to the
    user not existing in the portal DB.  Often caused when a portal
    site uses the same user registry as another site, users
    registered on one site are unable to login to the other.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix targeted for release in v2018.4.1.6.
