LI80592: CONSUMER ORGANIZATION FIELD NOT HONORED ON SIGN IN FORM AFTER ORGANIZATION OWNER INVITED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a user is invited as an organization owner they can choose
  to sign in as an existing user. In this situation they are
  presented with a field to enter the name of the consumer
  organization they are creating. However, this field is ignored
  and the organization name is based on the users first and last
  names.
  
  Reproduction steps
  -----------------------
  1. Go to APIM Catalog->Consumer organization and invite
  organisation owner from the 'consumer organizations' page of a
  given catalog
  2. Copy the generated activation link
  3. Open/Use the registration link in a web browser
  4. Scroll down and click "Sign in" without entering any data in
  the displayed field
  5. Enter the username and password of an existing user.
  6. Enter a new name in the Consumer organization field.
  7. Click Sign in
  
  Actual Result:
  The consumer organization field is not honored. The log in
  succeeds but the consumer org is based on the users name.
  
  A related issues is that the consumer organization field also
  can remain on the sign in and sign up forms even when you
  haven't been invited as an organization owner.

Problem summary

• Consumer organization name was not being processed from the Sign
  in form, therefore not available when making the call to create
  the new organization. Also there was an issue where the
  information to present the consumer organization field on the
  sign in and sign up forms was not being cleared when leaving the
  forms meaning that the fields were presented on subsequent uses
  of the form.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix has been made available in API Connect 2018.4.1.2
