LI80565: TRYIT FEATURE DOES NOT WORK APIC 2018.3.7

Error description

• On Developer Portal Version 2017.3.7, the Try it function
  seems to be broken.
  We tested several APIs all with testable and CORS set to
  true on different portal sites and different browsers.
  The first time we use the Send Button under the Try
  it tab in a new browser window, the expected security error
  appears, opening the provided link in a new tab returns the
  expected API response invalid client id because the client
  id is missing.
  The next time we use the Send Button the page stays in
  waiting status. Send is not selectable any more. Pressing
  Reset leave the Send button in non-selectable status.
  Please note:  the API is working as can be tested with Postman
  problem also occurs if we are using an API that does not
  require a client-id as gateway we have configured "DataPower
  Gateway V5 Compatible
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When API response body contained invalid json & content-type is
  set to application json the UI would hang.
  If the payload is invalid json and the JSON parser throws an
  error the response body should be displayed as plain text, no
  matter of the content-type.
  This way, the app developer has a change to see, that something
  is wrong with the returned JSON.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is targeted for inclusion in IBM API Connect fixpack
  V2018.4.2
