LI80558: USER PROFILE DATA DOES NOT UPDATE FOR OIDC/LDAP/AUTH URL

Error description

  • For OIDC, LDAP and Authentication URL, the user info (email,
    first_name, and last_name) is setup first time we get user's
    info. However, if the information is changed later in LDAP/OIDC
    system, the apic information doesn't gets refreshed.

Problem summary

  • For unmanaged user registries, like OIDC, LDAP or authURL, the
    user info is setup the first time the user signs up.
    However, if the info is changed in the original registry, the
    user information in APIC never gets refreshed.

  • This fix is targeted for APIC version 2018.4.1.2. For all
    unmanaged registries, user information in IBM API Connect is
    refreshed on user login and will be in sync with the external
    user registry's user data.
