APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When editing an existing application, which has a certificate
associated with it, the Developer Portal will not display any
information to inform the user about the presence of the
certificate.

Local fix

  • To check whether or not an Application has a certificate
associated with it the following toolkit command can be used
apic-slim apps:get certapp -c mycat -o myorg  --consumer-org
myconsorg -s api_manager
which will return a yaml file describing the application certapp
The section named "application_public_certificate_entry" will
contain the certificate.

Problem summary

  • Developer Portal users using Mutual TLS authentication in their
applications were not presented with the current certificate
associated with their application when viewing the Edit
Application page.

Problem conclusion

  • The Edit Application page now correctly displays any certificate
currently set enabling users to ensure it has been saved
correctly.
