Problem summary


    

  • Users can observe that Analytics data is not deleted at the end
of the defined retention period.
There is a cronjob that is responsible for deleting Analytics
Elasticsearch data indices if they were created older than the
current retention period.
This cronjob was failing.
It can be observed in the
apic-analytics-analytics-cronjobs-retention* log file:
ERROR     Unable to delete the following indices after 3
attempts: < enumeration of indices >

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The product is updated to correct the processing of the
retention cronjob.
