Error description

  • When you import a snapshot .twx file into IBM Process Center
that contains circular dependencies, you receive a validation
error and the import fails.

Problem summary


    

  • A check was added in IBM BPM V8.5.7.0 CF2017.03 that disallowed
importing projects that contain circular dependencies. This
check was added because projects with circular dependencies
cause various problems.

Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix that enables you to import projects with circular
dependencies and that tolerates circular dependencies in the
product is included in a future release of IBM BPM.
