Error description

• Information Analyzer column analysis reports error analyzing
  text column if any records have more than 255 characters.

  The actual errors shown in WebSphere log are:
    PersistenceUt E valueLength=404 for attribute=GeneralFormat
    exceeds annotatedLength=255

    executing saveAndDelete_25: A data length constraint was
    violated on attribute "GeneralFormat". The maximum allowed
    length is 255, but the length of the value is 404.

  The expected behavior is that text field limit is 512 bytes
  rather than 255, and additionally when a string exceeds that
  size we truncate to that size and analyze the available 512
  characters (rather than generating an error).
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• CA for Varchar col > 255 which contains text value on some
  records which is also > 255 causes errors.
  

Problem conclusion

• Issue is fixed with APAR JR56739 and is delivered with
  Governance Rollup5
