  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WebSphere Commerce v7.0 users using the HTTP(-WS) connector to
    integrate with third-party systems
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    This APAR allows the configuration of timeouts for the HTTP or
    HTTP-WS connectors
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    Lack of connection timeout could lead to hangs
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • Set the timeout in the instance configuration file as in the
    following example:
    
    OutboundConnector/InteractionSpec/
