PROBLEM: Filtering on a word in an "After" date column produces unexpected result ENVIRONMENT: 220.127.116.11 10.5.2 STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1)Open any business object that holds a search filter that constains a Planned End (Due Date), i.e triPlannedEndDT field. 2)For example: Go to the Update Projects tasks 1 page 3)Put the word "hello" in search filter for the Planned End (Due Date) column and click enter 4)Notice it still returns dates despite it being an unrecognized and random search word.
The Platform currently treats any invalid string as 'Today's Date
For Query Reports that have filters enabled, a check has been added whenever a user attempts to use an invalid filter in a date or date-time field. If a non date or non date-time string is used in this filter, then a "No data to display" message is shown to the user in the body of the query results table, and zero results are returned. This is targeted to the 2h2017 release.
