IV97201: DURATION FOR SETUP AND BREAKDOWN TASKS FOR ROOMS NOT CORRECT

Error description

  • Setup & Breakdown Tasks for Rooms: The start & end times of
    these tasks are only influenced by relevant SAM SLAs and NOT by
    the Room Setup & Breakdown times of the space. If there are no
    SAM records, the duration of the task is taken as 0 i.e. start
    & end times are same.

Problem summary

  • The Start and End Date Times need to be populated from Setup
    and Breakdown times on Space. A new list value "Use
    Reservation" has been added for "Task Assignment Dates Rule"
    list field to use for service plan records created for
    Reservation. This will allow the dates to be used from
    reservation and not SAM. Also the list values (Available
    Mid-Reservation, Available for Entire Reservation) available
    for "Reserve Service Type" list field on Reserve Work Task
    Template have been removed since our current structure do not
    support these two values for per reservation use case.

    list value for "Task Assignment Dates Rule" field has been set
    as "Use Reservation".

    list value for "Task Assignment Dates Rule" field has been set
    as "Use Reservation".
    DEFAULT - Reserve - Vehicle - Create Task - Auto-Assign : The
    list value for "Task Assignment Dates Rule" field has been set
    as "Use Reservation".
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Start and End DateTimes on Reserve Work Task records
    created for Setup and Breakdown times on Space are populating
    the values from SAM. The issue has been resolved to populate
    the date values from space by adding a new list value for "Task
    Assignment Dates Rule" list field on Service Plan record which
    is used for service plans records created for reserve
    functionality. Also, the list values "Available
    Mid-Reservation", "Available for Entire Reservation" for
    "Reserve Service Type" list field on Reserve Work Task Template
    have been removed since our current structure do not support
    these two values for per reservation use case.
    Note for upgrading customers: The list values have been removed
    from shipping application. These values will not be removed
    through OM Package. So, you have to manually remove these
    values from your environment if they are not being used
    anywhere.
    This is targeted to the 1h2017 application/OM release.
