IV94837: WHEN OPENING THE MAP WHILE VIEWING A WORK ORDER ON A LINEAR ASSET, AN ERROR OCCURS.

APAR status

Error description

  • Work Orders with a linear asset generate an error when the Map
    tab is
    opened:
    BMXAA9355E - It was not possible to load the linear layers.
    Error:
    BMXAA4176E - Attribute LRM does not exist. Gather the logs from
    the
    <HOME> directory and determine the process or app referencing
    the
    invalid attribute.
    
    ACTION TAKEN: I have replicated the issue.
    
    STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1. Go to Assets application.
    2. Click New Record.
    3. Populate the Assetnum field.
    4. Save record.
    5. Go to Map tab.
    6. Link the record with a map feature which is a line
    (polyline).
    7. Go to Asset tab.
    8. Check the Linear checkbox.
    9. Populate the LRM field with a measure.
    10. Populate the fields Start Measure and End Measure.
    11. Save the record.
    12. Go to Work Order Tracking application.
    13. Create a new WO.
    14. Populate the Asset field with the asset record created on
    step 2.
    15. Save the WO record.
    16. Go to the Map tab.
    
    Error will show up:
    BMXAA9355E - It was not possible to load the linear layers.
    Error:
