Error description

  • Some customers may receive a
    'java.lang.IllegalArgumentException'  when attempting to create
    an Object Migration package of all their associations.  This
    occurs when the associations are searched for, selected. and
    you click 'Add Selected Objects'.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The issue was that OM's adding of all associations to a
    package was exceding WebLogic 10,000 maxParamSize limit. The
    fix is to require a module be selected for Association searches
    in OM.
    

Problem conclusion

  • When creating an Object Migration export package, selecting a
    Module is now required when a searching for Associations to add
    to the package.
    This is targeted to the 1h2017 release.
