Problem summary


    

  • Add system property com.ibm.jsse2.overrideDefaultTLS - when
enabled TLS in SSLContext.getInstance
      will have same behavior as Oracle and mean TLS1.0, TLS1.1
and TLS1.2 are enabled.  When system property
com.ibm.jsse2.overrideDefaultTLS is set and SP800-131a strict
compliance or Suite B
      system properties are set, then only the TLS1.2 protocol
will be enabled

The associated Austin CMVC defect is 117495
JVMs affected : Java 6.0
The fix was delivered for 160_SR16_FP40 / 626_SR8_FP40
The affected jar is "ibmjsseprovider2.jar".
The build level of this jar for the affected releases is
"20161203"
.
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
