IV84044: IGNORE STOREROOM AVAILABILITY FOR WORK ORDER STATUS FIELD IS CHECKED THE WORK ORDER STATUS CHANGES TO WMATL

Error description

• Steps to Reproduce
  
  Go to Organizations application
  Bring up your organization
  From the select action menu> Work Order Options >Other
  Organization Options.
  Make sure that Ignore storeroom availability for work order
  status? is checked.
  Go to Inventory application.
  Filter for item EB12 storeroom PKG.
  Take note of the Current Balance.
  Go to Wotrack application.
  Create a new basic work order.
  Click on the Plans tab.
  Click on the Materials sub tab.
  Click on the new button.
  In the item field enter itemnum EB12.
  storeroom field enter PKG.
  Quantity field enter 8.00.
  Change the status to appr.
  Take note of the work order number and the status is now APPR.
  Save the Record.
  Notice that the Storeroom Material Status = NONE.
  Work Package Material Status = NONE.
  Go to the Inventory application.
  Bring up item EB12 storeroom PKG.
  From the Select Action Menu > Inventory Adjustments > Current
  Balance Adjustment.
  Enter a new balance = 10.00.
  Save the record.
  Go to Wotrack application.
  Bring up your newly created work order.
  Click on the Update Material Status toggle next to the Material
  Status Last Updated field.
  Notice that both the Storeroom Material Status and Work Package
  Material Status fields changed to COMP.
  Go to Inventory application.
  Bring up item EB12 storeroom PKG.
  From the Select Action Menu > Inventory Adjustments > Current
  Balance Adjustment.
  Enter a new balance = 4.00.
  Save the record.
  Go To Wotrack application.
  Bring up your work order.
  Click on the Update Material Status toggle next to the Material
  Status Last Updated field.
  Notice that both the Storeroom Material Status and Work Package
  Material Status fields changed to NONE.
  The work order status has been changed from APPR to WMATL even
  though the Ignore storeroom availability for work order status?
  is field is checked.

Problem conclusion

• Now, if Inventory balance drops from above the quantity required
  by an Approved Work Order to below the quantity required by the
  Work Order, causing the WO's Storeroom Material Status to update
  from COMP to NONE or PARTIAL, the Work Order status will NOT
  change from APPR to WMATL if Ignore storeroom availability for
  work order status? is true in Work Order Organization Options.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  package: Fixpack Release TPAE 7.5.0.11.
