Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    Unable to authorized groups for all repair facilities
    
    PROBLEM:
    In security groups on the repair facilities tab there is a
    check box
    called  AUTHORIZE GROUP FOR ALL REPAIR FACILITIES  . This
    should
    give users in this group access to all repair sites.
    Alternatively,
    below that , you can select the Individual Repair Facilities
    Authorization by  for that group adding the location to the
    Repair
    facility Authorization table (REPFACAUTH)  . Administrators
    could
    select the repair locations  that the user has access to.
    you see that even the security look up is having trouble
    accessing
    the list unless you edit a location first.
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: No
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Sign on as a super user such as maxadmin or wilson
    2. Go to Organization app
        a. select an organization(EAGLENA).
        b. Select Action Work Order Options --> Other Organization
    Options.
        c. Select Enable Repair Facilities? Click OK.
    3. Go to the security groups application.
        a. Bring up the MAXADMIN group, you will see the Repair
    Facilities tab is now available.
        b. Verify that the Authorize Group for All Repair
    Facilities? is selected.
    4. Sign out and sign back on.
    5.  Go to the assets application.
        a. Create an asset and save.
        b. Click Select Value on the Default Repair Facility field.
        The bug: no repair locations are listed.
    6. Go to Security application and bring up the MAXADMIN group.
        a. Switch to the Repair Facilities tab
        b. Un-select the check box - Authorize Group for All Repair
    Facilities?
        c. save.
        d. Sign out and sign back on.
        e. Go back to the Security group app and bring up the
    MAXADMIN group again.
        f.  On the Repair Facilities tab, click New Row.
        g. Click Select Value on the Repair Facility field.
        h: The bug: No records are displayed.
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    You should be able to authorized groups for all repair
    facilities without any issue.
