Error description

  • Desktop Requisition Advanced search does not return search
    results for CLOSED,CANCELED,DRAFT MRs

    Steps to reproduce:
    1)self Service> Desktop Req > Create Requisition # Test1
    2)Charge Information> GL Debit Acct = 6000-200-300, click
    "Continue" button
    3)Requisition Line Items > click "New Row"
    4)Line Type = Item, Item = "Gloves", Vendor = BEX, qty = 1
    5)click "continue" button
    6)click "Submit" button
    7)CLICK "View Details" > note status = APPR
    8)Create Requisition # Test2
    9)Charge Information> GL Debit Acct = 6000-200-300, click
    "Continue" button
    10)Requisition Line Items > click "New Row"
    11)Line Type = Item, Item = "Gloves", Vendor = BEX, qty = 1
    12)click "continue" button
    13)click "Submit" button
    14)CLICK "View Details" > Requisition Line Itmes> click on Line
    1, note  PR #, and PO #
    15)Purchase Order > select PO created in line #14, > change
    status to APPR if not already APPR
    16)Reciving > select PO # from Step #14, copy PO lines > save >
    receipts complete
    17)Desktop Requ> View Requisistion> Enter Req #Test2, note
    status should  now be "Closed" after PO received and closed
    18)Create Requisition # Test3
    19)Charge Information> GL Debit Acct = 6000-200-300, click
    "Continue" button
    20)Requisition Line Items > click "New Row"
    21)Line Type = Item, Item = "Gloves", Vendor = BEX, qty = 1
    22)click "continue" button
    23)click "Submit" button
    24)CLICK "View Details" > click "Change Status" = Canceled
    note: 3 statuses mpw available APPR, CLOSED, CAN >Test1 Appr,
    Test2 Closed, Test3 Canceled
    25)Desktop Req> View Requisition > Advanced Search (search for
    Closed MR>
    26)Search Field enter =APPR , Site=BEDFORD, click "Find" button
    Search is successful  >Test1  returned
    27)Search Field enter =CLOSED,  Site=BEDFORD, click "Find"
    button
    System Message "BMXAA4186E-No records were found that match the
    specified query. Check that the value you are searching for was
    entered correctly"  - should see Test2 as result
    28)Search Field enter =CAN, Site=BEDFORD, click "Find" button

    Note: This is inccorrect: searching from Advanced search should
    return results for CLOSED, CAN and DRAFTstatus MR's not just
    APPR and WAPPR and should not be receiving system
    message"BMXAA4186E-No records were found that match the
    specified query. Check that the value you are searching for was
    entered correctly"  when there is clearly data that meets the
    search criteria
    
    
    
    30)Desktop Req>View Requisition > status enter CLOSE or CAN  hit
    enter no research results returned, users have to hit enter
    inside the status field after entering CAN or CLOSE to receive
    search results.
    
    
    This does not appear to be correct behavior, user should be able
    to enter the status of CLOSED, CAN and hit enter and have
    results returned instead results are empty. If user now enters
    CLOSED, CAN and puts focus inside the Status field and hits
    enter,  or selects the status from the select value list and
    hits enter the correct results set is returned
