IV27819: MAXIMO IS APPENDING A LIST OF LABOR CODES THAT THE USER HAS RIGHTS TO

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When users create a query, Maximo is appending a list of Labor
  Codes that the user has rights to.Sometimes it appends the list
  more than once.This causes the Where Clause to be too big to
  save as a Saved Query and the program displays the BMXAA4049E
  error.
  
  I have one security group that has rights to all labor and so
  there are no records in the LABORAUTH table for this group and
  they do not get the error above when saving a query.
  
  Normal users belong to security groups that specify the Labor
  Records they have access to.For each Labor / Group combination
  there is a record in LABORAUTH.
  
  Maximo is appending this list in the Where Clause and this is
  causing the problem. In any case a normal user cannot create
  Saved Queries in Work Order Tracking, Quick Reporting,
  Assignment Manager or any of the Labor related applications.

Problem conclusion

• Two problems are fixed:
  
  
  
  
  
  1. the labor related security where clause should not be saved
  as part of the query (when you do save query)
  
  2. Fixed sql error when there are more than 1000 individual
  labors authorized
