Error description

  • History : B2B Integrator Ebics client supported 3S key for
    signing
    using java applet, but Java applets are being discontinued for
    industry security initiatives and the 3SKey portal will stop
    supporting Java on Dec 31 2019.
    
    3S key : 3s stands for SWIFT
    Secure Signature Key. Its A multi-bank and multi-network
    personal digital identity solution.
    
    3SKey tokens contain a
    unique, anonymous identifier that each bank assigns
    independently to their customers, and uses a trusted Public Key
    Infrastructure (PKI) to guarantee transactions are authentic,
    unaltered and legally binding.

    Procure
    3s token and plug it in your system
    Install 3s token
    software
    ** Install browser plugin.
    ** Supported browsers
    :
    Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are
    supported to login to the 3SKey portal using the SConnect
    browser extension. You can verify that SConnect is installed
    successfully by validating the presence of the SConnect icon in
    the Command bar of your browser.

    With
    this fix customer can sign an ebics order using 3SKey if the
    SConnect plugin is correctly installed.

Problem summary

    Users which use HSM (3SKeys) for signing ebics orders
    
    
    Problem Description:
    B2BI Ebics client supported 3S key for signing using java applet
    but
    Java applets are being discontinued for industry security
    initiatives and the 3SKey portal will stop supporting Java on
    Dec 31 2019.
    So, existing customers cannot use the applet base approach to
    sign ebics orders.
