APAR status

Error description

Deployed HADR pair with VIP using the default provided pattern:
Default DB2 OLTP Pattern with HADR and VIP for Linux version
1.2.9.1 and Db2 Patterntype 1.2.9.1.

Db2 version is 11.1.4.4 after successful deployment.
Used Manage menu and "Apply a DB2 fixpack" on the standby node
to upgrade to Db2 11.1.4.5 (which is present in the catalog).

It goes rather well, but finally the role are not switched back:

Problem summary

  • Db2 upgrade fixpack failed on HADR pair

Problem conclusion

  • After the reboot script
"WHP_reboot_vm_primary-Script" run , the
maestro export parameters are not loaded
causing the upgrade failure, this has been
fixed.
